No. A new Flex device always ships with at least one atomizer. These are for replacements or adding the format you didn't get originally — buy the Flower Atomizer here if you got the wax-only kit and want to add flower use, or stock up on replacements for either format.

No. Any Flex atomizer works on any Flex battery regardless of color.

They'll physically screw on, but the multi-level voltage/temperature modes and auto-detection are built for the Flex battery specifically. On another battery, the atomizer will just run at whatever that battery's voltage is, without mode control.
